We still love show & tell.

Some of my favorite photo assignments are those that give me the opportunity to jump inside someone’s little world for a little while. Be it their home, business, workplace, studio – there’s something so enjoyable in asking someone to ‘show me around’ and then getting to capture it with my camera. There is this mix of embarrassment and delight that comes over their face – the complicated feelings of being known and pursued by another, I suppose. Something we all want. Back in September I shot an ad for the Repair Guys at my work and really loved the images that came out of it. All Jimmy Fallon impressions aside – my respect for their work and the talent it requires to save our sick motherboards and keep us all from having nervous breakdowns, grew to enormous heights.  (Also, I love Ben’s tartan tattoo!)
