My name is Leah Dankertson (Dank·ert·son) and I am a creative freelancer based out of Seattle. I have over 10 years of experience in art, design, and photography.
I’ve had the privilege to work with such fine folks as Amazon.com, Fonté Coffee Roasters, The Northwest Symphony Orchestra, and University Book Store and have had my work featured in such fine publications as Seattle Magazine and Wine Spectator. I love working with people and brands that are passionate about the story they have to tell, who love the collaboration process as much as I do, and are eager to take bold and creative chances.

Even though the temperatures are telling us it’s still summer, the leaves are beginning to change colors here in Seattle and my Facebook feed is filling up with pictures of back-packed kids posing for their first day of…(1st grade, Kindergarten, Pre-K, Pre-Pre K…). In each little face I see courage and excitement and am reminded…

In honor of Independence Day this last weekend and my recent trip to D.C., I thought it only fitting that the first city post be from the capital of U.S. capitols. Cheers to travel…

So I just started “DIY Coaching for Creatives” by the lovely gals over at Braid Creative and one of the things we get each week is a theme. I thought it could be fun to share this weeks theme – Be Here Now – in illustration form, along with some of the notes I jotted…
Thankful today for those who have and are still sacrificing and serving our country well and grateful for the legacy of military service in my own family.
